This is the last song wrote for this album. This piece was inspired largely by two songs, Hideaway by Jacob Collier and A Thank You in Fives by Dylan Ryche. In Hideaway, Jacob divides every beat into 5 subdivisions, and has instruments play patterns of 3 and 4 over those subdivisions which has a disorienting yet mesmerizing effect. A Thank You in Fives is in 5/4 and accents every 4th beat, which sounds oddly natural. I also use some theoretical concepts such as metric modulation, blurring the lines between parallel major and minor keys, and theme development.
