This song and title was influenced by my friend and fellow fingerstyle guitarist Maneli Jamal. When I showed it to him, he laughed at a part near the beginning where I use a “slicing” motion to make some harmonics ring out. (It’s Been a) Harmonic Slice is an ode to the good times I’ve shared with him and the influence he’s had on my music.
